Golf carts are small and lightweight vehicles that are either electric or gas powered and are used for moving around on golf courses. They are also known as golf buggies and run at a very slow speed (less than 15 mph) and are designed to run only short distances. Their average dimensions are around 4 feet and (1.2m wide and 8feet long and 6 feet high) weighing approximately 900 pounds to 1000 pounds or 450 kg. When the first golf cart was created in 1932, it did not gain much of popularity. Golf carts became very popular and were bought in large scale by golf country clubs. Golf carts are also modified for suitable use in the gold courses. Usually parts like the windshields, ball cleaners, cooler trays, and motor or speed controllers are modified in golf carts. These carts can be three or four wheeled vehicles. Golf cars usually cost between $3000 up to $15000. The price basically varies depending on how the gold cart is, its speed, weight, steering, and how many people it may accommodate.
