It was Saturday when sun was setting down and it appeared like Westwood Lee was also going down with the sun. Main lead was taken by Heath Slocum with birdies at number 12 and 11, however he has finished with 72. Once the free drop of drain completed, Westwood was surrounded by pine trees, palmetto bushes and water oaks. He was having very less margin for mistake and distance to the hole was 196 yards. Westwood had hit a shot which was nearer to the pin.

At first Westwood joked and told that it was a tough shot, but later on he said that the shot was great. He said he was lucky. Yesterday, when he performed the same shot at that time, he had to cut it out to sideways, but now today he found a nice gap and took its advantage. It was an awesome shot by Westwood from Workshop, England. The ball came above the hole at 35 feet. For the 70th round, Westwood had two-putted. It was a single stroke lead on Robert Allenby that was from Australia and shot 67. It was also two-stroke lead over Francesco Molinari from Italy, Lucas Glover and Ben Crane.

It was a hot day when T.P.C. Sawgrass course was case-hardened and it was ready for some revenge for late starters. Japan’s Ryuji Imada had started with a day stroke and was behind Westwood. His day was started with end-to-end bogeys and he had never recovered. He made a dual bogey at 13th en route, which took him on a 24th position’s tie. Heath Slocum tied with Westwood for a lead along with birdie which was at ninth hole. He also took a lead single-handedly at 15 under. Westwood was very polite in giving answers to all questions which were all related to the losses in the major championships. Players are probably the closest things for them, but they are not from those four majors.

For Westwood, it was a moment to remember that how Mickelson came to him. He came to filch that one and at that time he was not thinking about any suggestions. He only thought about winning on Sunday. Now he is ready to win the first event, since 1998 in United States, New Orleans’s Freeport McMoran Classic. Westwood has got a nice opportunity to stand ahead of the line.

There is less than a month left for me to start my March Madness Bracket and my March Madness Picks.

These are the teams I am looking at right now to go far in my bracket and possibly make me some money when I put down a c-note for my pick to win the NCAA championship.

First is Kansas. Sherron Collins is a nightmare. He averages 15.1 points per game. And then there are Xavier Henry (13.2 PPG) and Marcus Morris 13.1 (PPG), making the Jayhawks a triple threat on offense.

They lead the Big 12 conference over Kansas State and even though their success is based on their perimeter game; they are strong on defense and can shut anyone out any given night.

That is why they are my NCAA Championship winning pick.

Coming up behind Kansas is Kentucky managed by Coach John Calipari is a young explosive team looking to make an impact in the tournament.

The Freshman John Wall leads the team with 17 points. And the biggest problem for opposing defenses is how to stop his quickness and speed in counterattacks, especially when he has a couple feet of open court in front of him.

Now last but not least is Syracuse. The Orange Men lead the Big East, one if the toughest division in College basketball.

Their offense is based on Wesley Johnson who scores 16 points per night but reason why Syracuse will make to the Final Four is their shut-down defense.

They are so quick and disciplined in the 2-3 zone defense that is hard for the opposition to get into the paint, forcing them to take low percentage shots.

Now there you have my early look at March Madness. Considering its only week 14 in the regular season, you might get a good line from your bookie if you take one of these 3 teams to win in April now.

In determining the reception of attention of the players and in the implementation of your ideas the factor that plays the most important role is the practice. For both the experienced and newcomer coaches style of practice is easily the measure stick of his abilities. One more issue is confronted by the newbie coaches. You will seldom be having a player who has not ever played in any kind of organized basketball, thus making the requirement of keeping things basic.

Three simple but effective ways to have a great practice are as follows:

A. Management of Time

It’s a common complain from majority of the coaches that they do not get enough time for practice. Whatever may be the case, if you are having a ninety minute practice session, then all must have made the best out of these 90 minutes. Each and every drill should get a pre-defined time limit and along with it time for breaks. Don’t forget to make sure that you leave behind good bit of time for scrimmages.

B. Keep an Element of Fun

At the preliminary state most of the kids play just to derive fun out of it. It’s like any other interesting piece of game to them. So, keeping a little fun involved in practices can bring out the best from them. The idea of fun while you learn is a no different to practices. Practiced bring in more results if you can properly blend rigorous practice and fun.

C. Keep Things Simple

Keep things to basic level at the beginning of the practice and then go on to have the more difficult ones. Also, make them practice as if they are doing something really interesting and not monotonous or stressful. Also, don’t press the 3rd gear at the start, just wait for them to get used to your style of practicing.

Following these simple and very important strategies can obviously aid you in making the guys practiced the best.
